no pictures – only words

29/06/2008

Again a little post about another friend of mine, “Little Shadow”.

Tomorrow is the last day we’ll have a coffee together: she’s going to leave our company to begin a new life somewhere.

I’m losing another friend, one after another … “when it rains it pours”.

Now I’m alone, what else?

Sadness only.

from a friend – AleZ (photoshop girl)

03/04/2008

Ok, I know Photoshop and its flexibility and unrivaled editing power.

Starting from version 7 I’m used to edit my pictures with curves, layers, filters and so on, slight editing anyway (i. e. brightness, contrast, B&W conversion).

I know a clever girl, Alessandra (aka AleZ), who is able to drive Photoshop in a very smooth and effective way.

Let me introduce a sample of her capability: a stunning b&w calla…

alez_calla.jpg

And now, ladies and gentlemen, let me show you a “remix” of my Winter Sea Pictures by AleZ.

only pictures – My Friend VERO (Butterflyfish)

20/03/2008

Hello!

I’m late this march: I’m very busy at the moment, I’m working hard and my camera is still “sleeping” in its bags along with my beloved lenses.

But… I have a very little story about a friend of mine, Veronica, aka HIH (Human Internet Hub), she definitely knows why!

She works in my company in Florence, but several months ago she scheduled to come back to her roots, i.e. Milan. I was shocked, “when you lose a close friend you lose a part of you”, Confucio said.

Now I can celebrate I’ll be in touch with Veronica again!

Here is Veronica.

short movie – “I love sushi”

07/02/2008

Hi folks!

Today I feel lucky: I had lunch at a Sushi Bar near Florence with a nice girl, aka “Little Shadow”.

She’s my friend and colleague (in this order, I hope) and she often make my work easier, along with another friend of us, aka “la Vero”.

Again, I feel lucky because I’m testing my brand new Canon G9 in movie mode.

So this is my first movie with a real actress: click the image below to download (3 MB) this masterpiece!

final show – a small movie

04/09/2007

Hi guys!

I’ve found out this small movie while I was wandering over some gigabytes of files in my TPW archive.

It’s about the final show, 03/08/2007.

Enjoy this small “souvenir” (click on the image below)

my classmates – This is the end!

26/08/2007

Dear all, this is the last post about you.

Next posts will be about some pictures I took at TPW.

So, thank you all for this amazing experience: hope to hear from you soon!

my classmates – Manuela Brunner & Priscilla Pedone

26/08/2007

This is the last post about my classmates.

I’d like to end with two girls: Manuela and Priscilla.

I loved the picture story shot by Priscilla: above all, the “dancing shadow” and the weird gestures of the actors (?).

I loved Manuela’s mildness and her will to stop working in a office and to make a twist in her life: become a photographer…

I need the same twist (and strength)!!!

Here some pictures…

my classmates – I due “de Roma” (Two guys from Roma)

25/08/2007

Now I want to talk about two guys from Italy, Fabrizio and Kim.

They’re from Rome: this is enough to describe them!

They’re often late for the afternoon critique but they’re so nice guys (also some pictures they shot) that nobody wanted to rebuke them, even Bob.

They’re talking about girls all the time: every girl in TPW seemed to be fine and worthy of interest!

I envy Kim for his age: he’s only 20 and he’s a lot of time to experiment and find his own way as photographer!

Here some pictures
